Today our #MCM is none other than Okunuga Temitope who is a model at ABUAD
Below is our interview with him, we hope u enjoy it as much as we loved doing it

Q: Tell us a little about you

So my name is Temitope Okunuga.
I’m 20 years of age.
I’m a graduate of AFE Babalola university
I studied international relations and diplomacy.
I’m also a model.
I’m a fun and jovial person.

Q: Tell us about your modelling career… When you started, your challenges and achievements so far

So modeling… I decided to go into modeling cos of my love for fashion. I just wondered if I can’t design, why not wear it? So I went for my first casting in February of this year with my best friend actually. It was a casual outing cos we had nothing to do and we just wanted to while away the time. Towards the end of the casting, we decided to walk for the judges and surprisingly they loved us so we went with the flow.
Since February however, school has plagued my schedule due to the fact that I was final year student. But in that time to November, I have done one editorial and walked at FADAN runway show 2016.
As for achievements, I won’t say I have any yet cos I haven’t booked any major jobs. In the challenges section, Most times the good jobs are not in Abuja and traveling to other states isn’t as easy as one would have hoped. But I look up to God for a successful career in the end. Cos I’m just doing modeling for now but I have other plans for the future.

Q: As a final year student, did your modeling career affect your education? How were you able to strike a balance between the two ?

I would say it didn’t affect my education because I put it on hold in order to finish well and give mum what she always hoped for which was a First class. I basically blind sided every job I was meant to book cos I wasn’t going to be available and I schooled all the way in ekiti. So to make those jobs, I would have had to travel down to Abuja then do the job and come back to school which won’t have helped me at all so I put it on hold during the school year.

Q: Do you have plans of making modeling a full time career?

If it’s possible, Yes. but it won’t be the only thing I’ll be doing. It will be like a side job. I really want to work with the United Nations so that’s the major goal.

Q: What do you do for fun?

Mainly it is always a fun time when I hang out with my friends… But I do what most youths do for fun.

Q: Now that you’re out of school, what plan do you have for the future? ….. Masters? Doctorate degree?

Yeah I plan on doing my masters and also pursuing a doctorate degree.

Q: what would u say is your driving force ?

My mother is my daily motivation. Her hard work and determination motivates everything I do in my life. Just watching what she does motivates everyday.

Thank you for your time
